A driving force at VML for nearly 20 years, Jon has served as global CEO since 2011. During Jon’s tenure at VML, the agency has grown from 30 employees in Kansas City, Missouri, to more than 2,400 on six continents.
Jon has guided VML through critical stages of growth and expanded capabilities — spanning the widest range of marketing disciplines — continually future-proofing the agency for success in a dynamic and rapidly changing industry. He embodies the agency's primary objective — to be the leading strategic partner for the world’s most forward-thinking brands.
Since 2011, Jon has spearheaded VML’s global expansion. The VML global network now includes 26 offices in 15 countries. VML serves some of the world's most recognized and respected brands, including Bridgestone, Colgate-Palmolive, Ford, Kellogg, PepsiCo, Wendy’s and many more.
Jon is a member of the leadership board of the American Association of Advertising Agencies and a member of the WPP Digital Advisory Board. He was recognized as the Advertising Professional of the Year by the American Advertising Federation (AAF-KC) and was a finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award program.
A leading advocate of the VML Foundation — the agency's employee-funded 501(c)(3) nonprofit community service organization — Jon serves on the VML Foundation advisory board. He is a member of the National Advisory Board of the National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial in Kansas City, Missouri, and a board member of the Head for the Cure Foundation, a national organization dedicated to discovering cures for brain cancer.
Jon graduated from the University of Missouri in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in journalism, and he supported the Missouri School of Journalism 2008 centennial program in several leadership capacities. He relishes spending time with his wife, Lisa, and their three daughters. The family especially enjoys hiking together.
Aden has 10 years’ experience leading digital and innovative campaigns for some of the biggest brands in the country, including: ASICS, Westfield, Dell, Hyundai, BIG W, Emirates, Revlon, Optus, Onitsuka Tiger, amongst others. Aden is founder of Digital Buzz, Australia’s #1 marketing blog.
He is a current FWA and AIMIA judge, and Digital Committee member at The Communications Council.
Betsy joined VML in 2005, during this time she has worked on a number for B2B and B2C clients in Chicago, New York City and now Sydney. Her portfolio of past and present client partners includes Sears, Accenture, Cadbury Schweppes, Colgate-Palmolive, Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Jameson and Kellogg’s. With almost 10 years experience, both globally and locally, she brings a wealth of Account Management experience to the team.
Betsy joined the VML Australia team after its launch in February 2012 as Sr Digital Account Director working on key clients such as Kellogg's and new business.
Betsy graduated from the S.I Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University.
Outside the office, she enjoys travelling, hiking and running.
With a decade of experience leading the digital vision for some of the world’s biggest brands in Australia and the U.S., Dave Di Veroli oversees VML’s strategy and planning capability across Australia and New Zealand.
His deep expertise in both brand building and digital strategy has transformed the digital and social ecosystems for brands like Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Kellogg’s, Unilever and American Express.
Dave’s work is featured in publications like Contagious Magazine and has led award winning work by championing VML’s innovation process across key client partners. As a mentor, facilitator and subject matter expert, Dave works closely with our customer experience, creative and technology teams to drive digital excellence day to day, whilst inspiring their future vision to solve critical business problems.
Natalie has ten years experience as a digital producer, both on the agency and client side. Natalie has worked with clients such as Kellogg’s, Suncorp Bank, Revlon and Colgate on both enterprise wide and campaign-based projects. On the client side she has worked at the Westpac Group, responsible for online sales conversion and user experience.
At VML, Natalie leads a team of 15 producers with a focus on best practice digital production and the management of bringing emerging technology to market.
